Our Team

My name is Pheap Hean (Mr.). I am Co-founder and Director of A D S A Cambodia. I responsibilities are top leader, general management, market research, leadership, communication with all stakeholders, capacity building, fundraising and networking.  I graduated with master degree of rural development. I have experience in 20 years in rural Development and Market Agriculture Value Chain.

The past from 2001 to 2023, I am a Co-founder for local NGOs (CRDT) and Business Owners (ASA Company). I am serving on the organizational and Company development, implementation and operations roles. Coming from a rural background and experiencing with poor living conditions, inspired me to commit to escape my life as well as my community’s from poverty. The opportunity has arisen when I met my peers in University, from similar background and having the same dreams where we discussed how we can use our potential to help the poor who do not have such a good opportunity to receive university education, and contributing to rebuild our country from young Cambodians. Then we were able to put together all the ideas and innovations to use all our theoretical knowledge into real practices, to address the real problems Cambodians are currently facing. Poverty and environment are critical inter-related issues that Cambodia is currently facing. Sustainable development is my major interest. I am extremely motivated to work with my lively team both national and international colleagues, who see the world without border, that we put together all our resources and endeavors to achieve the common goal of sustainable development where we wish to see our society are of prosperity with beautiful environment.

I am a co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of ADSA. I am also the owner of D’fresh Grocery.

I came from an agricultural background that studied in the faculty of Agro industry of  Royal University of Agriculture and also joined an internship with Agro studies in Israel in 2017. My basic skill  in food processing, postharvest management and food microorganism. I also have extra skill in the principles of modern irrigation system, managing fruit tree farming, sustainable agriculture, economic and enterprise, plant protection, vegetable and field crops farming, preparation for research project, food value chain, market research of fresh-cut fruit and vegetable in market, consulting food business model for university student, assistant of exhibition organizer, field trip planner ,tour leader and customer service.

My work experience is in the business development of Kase Tour and Phar Agro. For running D’fresh Grocery I used to achieved a  Business Digitalization and Acceleration of E-commerce Innovation Challenges 2022 that Organized by United Nation Development Program ,and pass opportunity in joining Postharvest Safe Food Handling for Fresh Produce that organized by Mekong Institute Thailand 2022.

I am Nat Yukleav, a co-founder of A D S A Cambodia where is a wholesale safe agricultural product to market, who respond on operation department especially food safety and quality management.

For my work experiences, I am working as researcher/lecturer of Food and Chemical Engineering Faculty of Institute of Technology of Cambodia, Research Innovation Center (2021-present). In addition, I was a production supervisor of food product company (Confirel Co., ltd, 2017-1018). 

I graduated with master degree of Chemical Engineering from Sirindhorn International Institute of Technology, Thammasat University (Thailand, 2020) and Bachelor degree of Food Technology and Chemical Engineering from Institute of Technology of Cambodia (Cambodia, 2017).

Experience 8 years of information and technology development.

• Lead app development to ensure the app develop on time based on projects agreement from donors.
• Work close with CEO for app development.
• Design and app develop the system and mobile applications based on the requirements from the stakeholders.
• Design and functionality of the system should be user friendly, intuitive, and easy to use. It should come handy to the safety agriculture value chain who will be using this system and help speed up the current process.
• The web and app application design should be mobile responsive i.e, which can be accessed from devices with different screen sizes. It should be compatible with major internet browsers and should be graphically attractive.
• Developed system should be modular enough to integrate future changes and real need from consumers.
• The developed system should be flexible enough to add new features to communicate with other systems.
• Web and App application content should provide a user-friendly admin interface to add dynamic contents for web and app application frontend and mobile applications.
• Develop mobile applications for both Android and IOS platforms.
• Provide necessary support to deploy mobile applications to play and app store.
• Conduct regular meetings with the MD, COO, CEO and stakeholders to ensure all features are easy to use and maintenance.  
• Assist all project teams in their daily management, organization, work planning and budget planning
• Assist with CEO to Ensure all projects follow ADSA CAMBODIA’s implementation strategy and support staff to plan and undertake activities according to implementation strategy
• Assist with CEO to Ensure that project activities are implemented for maximum effectiveness
• Attend external trainings as necessary as a representative of ADSA CAMBODIA and report back to head office and conduct workshops to provide capacity building to other ADSA CAMBODIA staff
