I am Pheap is the Founder and CEO of ADSA Cambodia, a social enterprise that promotes safe agricultural products through market-driven solutions. As the top executive, I am responsible for strategic leadership, organizational management, market research, stakeholder communication, capacity building, fundraising, and partnership development.
With over 20 years of experience in rural development and agricultural value chains, I bring deep knowledge and practical expertise in creating sustainable livelihoods for smallholder farmers across Cambodia. I hold a master’s degree in Rural Development and has dedicated his career to improving the lives of marginalized communities.
From 2001 to 2023, I am a co-founded and led several impactful initiatives, including the local NGO CRDT (Cambodian Rural Development Team) and Owner for ASA Company, where he played key roles in organizational development, program implementation, and business operations.
Growing up in a rural area and experiencing poverty firsthand deeply shaped his commitment to sustainable development. Inspired by my own journey and those of his university peers—young Cambodians from similar backgrounds—I committed to using my education, knowledge, and entrepreneurial spirit to create meaningful change for others who lacked access to opportunity.
Through ADSA Cambodia, I continue to turn vision into action by connecting small-scale producers with inclusive markets, supporting environmental protection, and working toward a society free from poverty, with sustainable livelihoods and a healthy environment. I am deeply motivated to collaborate with both national and international partners who believe in a borderless world, united in the pursuit of shared goals for sustainable development.
